TB Diagnosis & Treatment

Routine TB screening is done at all entry points of care; timely diagnosis is made clinically or by ZN test done in our laboratory. Further diagnosis by GeneXpert is done using a HUB rider system — samples are taken by riders to Masindi hospital and results received through the same system after about 7 days. Management of TB is offered to clients free of charge since it is supported by the Ministry of Health through UCMB.
