Community Health Education Day on Maternal Care
Expectant mothers gathered for a day of teaching on safe pregnancy, delivery and newborn care.
Nyamigisa Health Centre hosted a community health education day focused on maternal and newborn care. Midwives and clinicians shared practical guidance on antenatal visits, nutrition during pregnancy, danger signs to watch for, and the importance of delivering with a skilled attendant.
The day reflected our belief that health education is as important as treatment. When mothers are informed and supported, both they and their babies are far more likely to thrive.
